Descr:In 1907 the Thomaston Tramway, a 1905 corporation owned by the New Haven Railroad, had its name changed to Connecticut Company (ConnCo) and the NH transferred all of its traction holdings in the state of Connecticut - formerly operated by Consolidated Railway - to the company. NH divested itself of ConnCo in 1910 but maintained majority control. In 1936 portions of the ConnCo system were split off and bustituted but streetcar service remained on portions of the network until 1948. Now a bus operator, ConnCo was sold to the state in 1976.
