Descr: | Formed in 1916 as a reorganization of Empire United Railways, which was in receivership. In 1917 ESRR took over EUR lines between Syracuse and Oswego and between Port Byron and Auburn. In 1922 ESRR was acquired by the Rochester & Syracuse but retained its identity. The ESRR lines were abandoned in 1931.
