| Descr: | Northern Electric acquired the streetcar system in Chico in 1905 and built an interurban line south to Sacramento which opened in 1907. By 1914 it also had branches to Oroville, Woodland, and Colusa. In 1918 the NE system became the "North End" of the Sacramento Northern Railway.
