Descr:NYSR was a subsidiary of the New York Central. In 1912 it acquired the Syracuse Rapid Transit, which ran streetcar service in Syracuse, and reorganized it as NYSR Syracuse Lines. NYSR entered receivership in 1934 and the remaining Syracuse streetcar operation was sold to Syracuse Transit Corporation in 1939.
